Any confrontations with announcer or time booth staff will result in disqualification of driver. If you have an issue, take it directly to the people listed above. Any staff with a headset will get their attention for you, ask nicely. 8. All trucks must be equipped with their own hook-up device, both front and rear. Drivers hands must be visible. NO ONE WILL BACK OUT OF THE PITS. 9. All trucks except for Street Stock will be equipped with a fire extinguisher, mounted within driver's reach. 10. NO ALCOHOL IN PITS OR STAGING AREA. NO CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL PRIOR TO RACING BY ANY DRIVER - YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RACE. MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. 11. No major repairs in staging area. 12. All competitor drivers must have a drivers license and show proof of same if asked. 13. Passengers are allowed in 100 class vehicles only, permitting seat belts and safety equipment is available. No passengers in any other classes. 14. All trucks must have four wheel lock-up brakes. 15. Modified trucks running Nitrous Oxide other than 500, 600 or 700 class trucks will have the bottle removed and registered with tech staff or sealed by head technician. Driver's running NOS are responsible for providing their own locks or must remove the bottle. 16. NO ENGINES RUNNING UNLESS A DRIVER IS IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT. Truck/driver will be disqualified for the days event. NO REFUND. NO EXCEPTIONS. 17. TEAR DOWN RULE: A complaint against a vehicle shall be handled as follows: i. $300 cash for tear down to be given to head tech upon issuing complaint. ii. Complaintant will have all monies returned IF vehicle is found to have been cheating or illegal. iii. No tear down will be done without the knowledge of the Chief Director (Head Technician) whose responsibility it is to notify all other members of the executive. iv. The club will provide a licensed mechanic to inspect the parts as results of tear down. The vehicle under question will provide their own mechanic/person to do the physical tear down. v. If an appeal to the Chief Director/Tech inspector is demanded, same must be in writing within one hour of the decision having been made to the person making such decision. vi. Such an appeal will be held before the Executive Board consisting of the President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer, Chief Director and any such other directors as set out by this organization. vii. The appeal tribunal shall sit and may hear such persons as the complaintant desires to produce or such other person or information which may be beneficial to the organization in a proper decision being made. viii. The decisions of this body are final from which there is no right of appeal. ix. Any prize monies awarded that race day will be turned over to the next in line if vehicle is found to be illegal. x. A fine of $300 shall be imposed or the vehicle suspended for any future events. xi. It shall be at the executives discretion whether or not a tear down seal or tag be used to ensure no one tampers with the engine before official tear down. xii. If a refusal of tear down occurs, such vehicle is automatically disqualified and suspended from class until proof is supplied that same is conforming to rules. The fine is automatic. xiii. If the vehicle torn down is found to be legal and not cheating, the $300 the complaintant put up goes to the owner of the vehicle being torn down. 18. All entries shall register prior to registration cut off time. Registration cut off time shall be 11:30 am unless otherwise stated by OMRO officials. Failure to do so will cause a penalty of a class entry fee. Tow vehicle breakdowns shall be allowed a one hour easement of this rule, providing proof of breakdown at time of arrival. 19. Expense fees are set out as follows and at the executives discretion: i. Registration person shall receive $100 per event plus annual membership. ii. Time booth staff shall receive $50 per event. Two in total. If registration person doing one, no additional $ paid. iii. Lights operator shall receive $100 per event plus annual membership. No gas mileage will be paid. iv. Chief Director/Tech Inspector shall receive $50 per event plus annual membership. v. Light trailer - person whom tows trailer to events and charges batteries between events will be reimbursed all gate entry fees. Additional mileage may be provided if distance travelled is greater than normal, paid at the discretion of the executive. vi. Line Up person shall receive $25 per event. vii. 50/50 ticket sellers will receive $10/each from sales prior to dividing 50/50 money for dispearsment. (Two in total) 20. Prize money will be paid at the end of the day for a one day race and at the end of the second day at a two day event. Paid out per the prize money breakdown sheet. Same at all events. 21. Classes shall have a minimun of five vehicles registered in each class to create a race subject to executives discretion. 22. Any disagreement over use of vehicles or equipment being used shall comply with rules and or materials supplied by a vehicle manufacturer. 23. The 100 Street Stock and the Superstock classes are permitted two drivers per truck registered in the class. ALL other classes are permitted one driver only. 24. Points go to the driver, not the truck. Annual membership entitles holder to run points in ALL classes that the register in. Only points earned after a membership is paid for will be included. 25. Drivers of vehicles NOT having a full windshield must ALWAYS wear protective eye wear while racing not only for their own safety but for the safety of others. 26. All MODIFIED vehicles bumping from one class to another must meet the requirements of the class moved to. Street stock and Superstock trucks can bump up to modified classes without meeting modified rules. ie do not require full roll cage etc. 27. All vehicles on call for a class must be in the staging area three minutes prior to start of class or could forfit their pass. 28. All batteries in classes above street stock must be securely fastened with steel bands or enclosed in battery box. 29. Fuel systems must be fully mounted to protect against impact ensuring safety of drivers and others. 30. Seats and restraint belts for drivers must be securely mounted and reinforced if needed. Safety harness must be in good condition and not outdated, at discrestion of tech inspector. 31. Any and all drivers, owners, members and sponsors shall in whatever way ensure any and all events are held in such a manner as to ensure the SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF EVERYONE.
